im not liking this. to me it seems to need to be more dramatic, with more layers and a sharper a-line. and im a client not a stylist.
If you want messy, jagged layers like this haircut is SUPPOSED to have, use a razor.

thinning shears would have gotten that done a lot faster….or notching shears …. but ya.. i can barely see a difference from when she first started and when she ended..
if you really wanted correct movement and texture then why didn’t you back cut and then point cut correctly!

My hair is cut like this and it looks horrible!!! I hate it and it never straightens right in the back, it’s always too thick and dumb looking..! And i dont know what to do, i’d love to cut it but i dont want is super short!!

if you make the cut any shorter on her, it would emphasis her weight. She doesn’t have a skinny face to pull off a short bob and would make her look heavier than she is.
